With a background in real estate development, Sergio has been in the position of buyer, investor and seller many times over. He brings not only that knowledge, but also that empathy and integrity, to all his client’s transactions.
After obtaining his California Real Estate license, Sergio Macias was recruited as office manager for Seville Realty in 1998. In 1999, after expanding on his real estate education and fully entrenching himself in the real estate sales business, Sergio became Rookie of the Year at Coldwell Banker Star Realty in Lakewood. During the next 13 years at Coldwell Banker, he earned several awards and titles including Top Sales Associate, Top Listing Associate and won the respect of his peers and growing clientele.
Sergio’s business model has always been based on high ethics, extensive education, and repeat business from his high referral base. Drawing from his many affiliations over the last 30 years, Sergio can confidently say his business thrives from over 90% referrals. In addition to real estate, Sergio is a majority shareholder of a thriving Long Beach business staple – Hot Java Coffeehouse.
In 2012, Sergio and his business partner, Erin Barry, formed the Coastal Homes Group and are proud to have a combined experience of over 40 years, of hundreds of transactions, and to have been awarded “Top Group.” The Coastal Homes Group joined forces with KOHR Group Realty in 2020 and has continued to focus on education, changes in property owner rights, and serving clients.
